October 2015 Playlist

Wow! I haven't done a playlist since July. I don't know what happen. Since I haven't done a playlist in awhile some of these songs may have been out for awhile and I've been listening to for a couple months. Here's my October Playlist! :)

Favorite Halloween Movies

Right when it hit October 1st I was ready to start watching Halloween movies. I thought I'd make a blog post letting you guys know what I plan on watching throughout this month. I'm not really big on really scary movies but I like the movies that have a Halloween theme. So lets get started!

1. Harry Potter series


Now I do watch these movies all year round. Harry Potter movies are my favorite, but there is something about watching them around October. It just makes Hogwarts that little bit more scary.

2. Halloweentown series

Been one of my favorites since I was a kid.

3. Hocus Pocus

4. Edward Scissorhands

5. Twitches and Twitches Too

6. It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown

7. The Nightmare Before Christmas

8. Haunted Mansion

9. Halloween (1978)

This is like the only scary movie that I can watch.

Autumn Makeup

Hi everyone! It is now Autumn and the nights are getting cooler and I've been spending my evenings cuddled up on the couch with some hot cocoa. It's a time for cozy jumpers and yes a NEW MAKEUP LOOK.
This makeup look is something that I have started wearing and will most likely be wearing the rest of Autumn.

Pineapple-Mango Smoothie

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

1 cup diced mango
1 cup diced pineapple
1 cup coconut juice or water

Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth and pour into a glass. I like to pop my smoothie in the freezer for a few minutes before I drink it.

Style Icon: Marilyn Monroe

 

 

 

Marilyn Monroe is someone I have been fascinated with since I was a little girl, but never knew much about her other than she was beautiful. As I got older I started discovering her movies and now she is one of my favorite actresses of all time. One of my favorite movies of hers is "How to Marry a Millionaire" with Lauren Bacall and Betty Grable. Marilyn wasn't only a Hollywood icon, but also a fashion icon. She was kind of ahead of her time. She was huge during the 50's where the main fashion trend was poodle skirts and Peter Pan collars and she was wearing elegant gowns, playsuits and skirt suits. She was the is the definition of Hollywood glam. To me though her personality and charisma is what makes her so beautiful. Also, her smile is just dazzling. So, here's a look at some of my favorite looks of Marilyn.
