Marilyn Monroe is someone I have been fascinated with since I was a little girl, but never knew much about her other than she was beautiful. As I got older I started discovering her movies and now she is one of my favorite actresses of all time. One of my favorite movies of hers is "How to Marry a Millionaire" with Lauren Bacall and Betty Grable. Marilyn wasn't only a Hollywood icon, but also a fashion icon. She was kind of ahead of her time. She was huge during the 50's where the main fashion trend was poodle skirts and Peter Pan collars and she was wearing elegant gowns, playsuits and skirt suits. She was the is the definition of Hollywood glam. To me though her personality and charisma is what makes her so beautiful. Also, her smile is just dazzling. So, here's a look at some of my favorite looks of Marilyn.

Style Icon: Audrey Hepburn

This is the beginning of a series where I share my style icons. So, first up is Audrey Hepburn. When I think of Audrey Hepburn sophistication and beauty comes to mind. Her style was elegant, simple and classic. Audrey Hepburn really is the definition of beauty.


Audrey Hepburn was a member of the International Best Dressed List and was elevated into its Hall of Fame in 1961. Audrey was included in People's "50 Most Beautiful People in the World" in 1990. She received the Council of Fashion Designers of America's Lifetime of Style Award in 1992.


Something that I love about Audrey Hepburn is that she didn't try to be beautiful. She just was effortlessly.
